Description:

PMA260 is seeking a modular test solution that can replicate, replace, and enhance current EW test systems. As part of this prototyping process, the USN desires to introduce an “RF squirt gun” that is compatible with the modular solution and provides stimulation for radio frequency (RF), ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), and/or laser systems. Each feature of the system stimulator should be a separate component of the modular solution to maximize convenience and promote improved maintenance procedures for maintainers while minimizing weight. Desired End State includes;  A modular prototype, desired quantity 3, that provides NxGen EW test capability with increased flexibility, minimized weight, and a posture that supports repair & diagnosis at the I-level using the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) Family of Testers (FoT). The delivered modular prototype may be considered for replacing PMA-260’s Signal Generator Test Set (SGTS) and Joint Service Electronic Combat Systems Tester (JSECST).
